The difference between public and free data is die to in the fact , that OCHEM limits the export of sensitive information (in particular, molecular structures) for non-free data. Different categories of users can have individual limits for exporting non-free data.

Approved data
The data published by users (public and free data as described above) can be tagged as "approved" by OCHEM moderators.
By default, users see only the approved data published by other users. However, there is an option to show all public data, including the records not yet approved by moderators.
