Browser of articles
The strict policy of OCHEM is to accept only those experimental records, that have their source of information specified. This improves the quality of the data and allows it to be verified by checking the original publication.
Similarly to other entities of the OCHEM database, scientific publications can be accessed from a special dialog - browser of scientific publications. This browsers allows to view, search, create and modify scientific publications.
The available filters include:
- PubMed identifier
(importantly, the article can be retrieved from PubMed automatically, if it is not yet in the OCHEM database) - full or partial title
- last name of one of the authors
- journal, volume or year of publication
Similarly to the other entities, a scientific publication has a profile that summarizes the article details:
Browser of journals
The Journals browser shows an overview of the journals stored in the database. It allows viewing, searching, and editing of journal data, including stored articles belonging to the journal.
Before adding a new journal, please verify that the journal does not exist in the database yet.
New journals can be added by clicking the new symbol at the top of the screen.
Existing journals can be edited by clicking on the edit symbol at the right side of the screen.
