OCHEM users can earn so called "bonus points" for their contributions.
The earned bonus points can be spent for downloading restricted access data from OCHEM, calculation of CPU-intensive QSAR models, etc.

The bonus points system is currently in beta-testing stage.

How to earn bonus points?

The bonus points can be earned for the following activities:

  • Upload high quality data into OCHEM database.
To be eligible for bonus, the data has to be made public and has to be approved by one of OCHEM moderators.
The earned amount depends on the number of approved records and the type of data (e.g., in-vivo data is more valuable than HTS or physicochemical properties).

  • Develop QSAR/QSPR models.
Similarly to the data, the models should be published and approved by a moderator to be eligible for a bonus. A model is more likely to get approved is it is cited in a scientific publication.

  • Become a moderator.
If you have expertise for particular type of experimental data (e.g., solubility data, toxicological data), you are more than welcome to become a moderator for a particular set of properties.
You will be able to review the data submitted for approval, suggest comments to the data uploaders and gain bonus points for approving the data.

  • Contribute to OCHEM platform itself.
This activity can include: suggestion of new features, feedback, bug reporting, etc.
The amount of earned bonus points.

How to use bonus points?

The bonus points can be used for:

  • Downloading the restricted access data
  • Calculation of QSAR/QSPR models that require lots of computational resources
  • No labels
